Hoodia Cactus Plant and The 60 Minutes Show

Though Hoodia resembles a cactus in many ways with its succulent trunk and appendages, there is actually no such thing as a Hoodia cactus plant. It’s simply a plant. Hoodia grows only in the Kalahari desert in South Africa even though so fast thinking entrepreneurs are now trying to grow it in their backyards. Be careful because it’s not the same thing.
